    Building my first fm transmitter

@Audioguru how much higher? ok, I'm going to refresh my memory on inductors again tomorrow. Thank you! I think that might be the problem. I'll buy some other and try it again.

    Building my first fm transmitter

@FvM it's LQM18PN1R0MFRL. And I just looked at the Frequency characteristics (Q) - it's very low close to 100 MHz. Could it be a problem?

    Building my first fm transmitter

@danadakk I'm pretty sure there are no shorts. I have Fluke 116. @Audioguru I use 0603 fixed inductor with high Q. But I'm not sure if this is a correct one.

    Building my first fm transmitter

@danadakk - I don't have any connectors, I just soldered everyrhing on the PCB, including antenna (basically, a piece of wire - 1mm thick, not sure if this is correct too...). Thus, my PCB is a lot smaller. @Audioguru thanks for the explanation. I'd really like to hear *anything* for now. And...

    Building my first fm transmitter

Hi! I build this FM transmitter using MAX2606 but since I'm still new to electronics, I'm not even sure how to check if it works... :/ Here's the schematic: 1) I'm not sure the schematic is ok. I took it from the web somewhere and slightly changed (well, according to my level of knowledge)...

Rookie questions on SPI NAND flash

Thank you, Klaus. Good to know for sure.

Rookie questions on SPI NAND flash

I did from the beginning. The datasheet has max frequency but not the minimum.

Rookie questions on SPI NAND flash

That's because you need to register on Micron site to get their datasheets. Here's their datasheet.

Rookie questions on SPI NAND flash

The idea is to use SPI NAND flash with MCU. MCU provides a clock (1 - 4 MHz). 1630693639 Found this one - Micron MT29F1G01ABBFDWB 1Gb. It is SPI. But I wonder if it works with 1 or 4 MHz clock.

Rookie questions on SPI NAND flash

Hello, I've never looked at SPI NAND Flash IC's but I'd like to use one now. I've read some datasheets but I have some questions if you don't mind. For example, this Micron Nand Flash memory. If we take 2Gb one, they say: Page size: x8: 2,112 bytes (2,048 + 64 bytes) x16: 1,056 words (1,024 +...

Mic preamp and Tx on MAX260x

Yeah, I'm going to finish a book first as RF is a black magic to me at the moment. 1610809856 I just found out there are chip antennas! Never heard of it.

Mic preamp and Tx on MAX260x

Yes, that's what I thought too. But now the question is - what is the right way of doing this?... 1610746652 Or I guess I can just tune the output of the preamp, right?

Mic preamp and Tx on MAX260x

Yes, this is it. And that's why I ask basically - if I want to have a mic preamp then its should be limited so, that this standard freq deviation would not exceed 75 kHz. What if I need more amplification of the mic input? Anyway, I should try it and see. But I don't understand this part even...

Mic preamp and Tx on MAX260x

What I don't really understand is this - suppose I generate a deviation of 3 MHz (not sure the terms are correct). So my loudest sounds create that huge modulation. Would a regular FM tuner produce such sound? I guess not. The idea is to be able to "hear" both - quiet and loud sounds, which...
