hii , return loss is the reflection of signal power relative to the transmitted signal power. so it need to be as low as possible in order to have all the power transmitted .

i suggest to use Triangular antenna , it will be helpfull for you , it's a broadband antenna and have a good response at high frequencies .

hi , i suggest to use momentum in Agilent ADS , you can draw your spiral antenna and simulate the S parameters and the radiation pattern of the spiral antenna easily.

ads dxf file
i have a layout design on ads .. i exported it to dxf format.. i used many pcb software ( proteus , pads , cam350) to import the dxf file but it doesn't work ?! :S anyone can help me ?
