Problem when installing Cadence 5.0.3.3 on SUSE 10

unzip softload program manually then run /your_unzip_dir/softload you might get some other problems related to "sort command" (didn't try SUSE10 yet) however i recommend to install under RH7.2 and get it running there then copy to newer linux version (no guarantee that this will work!)

Problem in installing ic5033 on SUSE 10

suggestion: use red hat 7.2 copy installation disks to your HD first (e.g. /home/user/cadence/cd1 & .../cd2) install configure configuration files (.cshrc or .bashrc ....) configure licensing now it should work fine on RH7.2 copy installation and configuration files to whatever linux...

how to install ic5141 on fc5?

suggestion: install on Red Hat 7.2-7.3-8 or 9 then copy all files to your FC5 installation this way you should avoid the problems with the softload script BUT i don't guarantee that were will not be any other problems.... (I have problems with IC5033 on FC5, related to glibc libraries)
