Hi, I'm working on a MIMO system. It has 4 inputs and 3 outputs. I need system's outputs to track input reference trajectories. I've been asked by my advisor to use LQG tracker. I have got the general idea but not able to implement it. I need quick help on this. Trajectories to be followed are...
Hi All,
Well, I'm asked to discretize model of a system using available methods. I have been able to do so, however, when I try to discretize using "Pole Zero Matching" rules, I get in trouble. It's so because on of the poles lies at the origin i.e. at s=0. It is mapped to z=1 in z-domain. The...
Hi!
I'm about to write brifely what I understand about channel coding and source coding. Please correct me, if I'm worng.
Channel Coding: Refers to "Signal Transformation". By signal transformation, we mean that we transform the signals into "better-signals" which can better withstand the...
umts layer 2 utran protocol stack
Well, in my view, deploying WCDMA means we are multiplying the user data with a chip (which generally is different for each user, and enables us to spread the user data on wider BW), and thus, it features multiple access/multiplexing. The new chip obtained is...
rrc protocol stack
Thx again!
I'm about to ask another silly question. Believe me, this one is really a silly Q. Anyways, here I go.
Why do we need QPSK or 8PSK for modulation, when we already have deployed CDMA technique.
As far as I think, by multiplying user data with the chip, we get...
QPSK in CDMA?
8-PSK is even better, as within the same BW we can achieve higher data rates, but the problem is signal becomes more error prone.
Then there is QAM.
I guess, I'm right.
node-b stack
ty gied!
I need to know some more things... Physical layer is implemented at Node B, no doubt about that. Where are the other layers implemented... My logic says, the other layers must be implemented at RNC. Is that true?
utran protocol stack
Hi!
Well, I need to know the Uu (UMTS radio interface) interface protocol satck. I've studied it, but I'm a little confused. I know, it works at Physical, Data Link and Network layers of OSI model.
I want to know, what exactly are the responsibilities of these layers. I am...
Hi... Well, I've installed both the Asterisk as well as the X-lite... Now, I would like to know what should I do next? I do not have any clues about it. Please help me out in this regard. Thx!!!
@sinip
Probably, u r right... But, I'm a fresh engineer. Luckily, I mangaed to find a place in a company. But on the very first day as I walked in the office, a Sr. called me and started asking these things but I didnt have much to tell him... In confusion, I posted all of them on to this...
I know that... I've logged on to remote terminal, and it really behaves like local machine... But, I do not even know how to run an app on local terminal in CLI mode... I hope u would understand...
Well, SSH only allows you to log on to a remote terminal... then how can I run applications using it??? By the way, I've never even run any apps using CLI mode... I'm a newbie to Linux!!!
Hi every1...
Well I need to know certain things...
Zaptel???
Zapata???
Extension???
Queues???
Digium???
Asterisk Channels???
Purpose of using Asterisk???
Advantages/Disadvantages of Asterisk???
