In winter 2003 I "updated" my heating from the 70th by adding a self-made Heating system control. Now I calculated the saved heating-costs:
I needed in the years:
2001 : 19.559kWh
2002 : 20.614KWh
2003 : 12.345KWh (installation of the control in that year)
2004 : 11.236kWh...

we built a simple and cheap webserver based on an ATMEGA32 and a NE2000 ISA-Network-card.
With this webserver we can control peripherals from the Internet and see sensor data (1wire temperature sensors,...) from anywhere in the world.
The webpages can be stored...
