Latched Comparator
Hi,
Can i ask how to achieve the below specs for a latched comparator in cadence?
Currently looking at the dynamic latched comparator topology. See attached picture.
How do we size it?
TSMC18
supply: VDD,GND
resolution: Δvin < 1mV
Operating freq: >1MHz
Please help...
I'm just wondering how long must the length of a MOSFET be to be considered as a long channel MOSFET in a TSMC 0.35 um technology. Please paste any link for me to reference thx
Re: What type of simulation should I do for a 10MHz Oscillat
Hi Erik,
You have been most helpful & I really appreaciate that. I will try my best to find that special condition if it exists. My ring oscillator deviate alot at Monte Carlo analysis until i think i need a digital trim. Any...
Hi can someone pls advice me on whats the difference between different version of cadence. And is cadence version i mentioned above considered new or outdated.
Is it less accurate if its 'outdated' or do we need to choose the 'right' version depending on what we are simulating. Thanks for advising.
oscillator monte carlo simulation
Thank you so much for telling me that. May I ask how do i simulate fs & sf? I do know for ff is just 'fast'
I don't really get the MC-mixed condition, whats is that and how can i simulate it? pls advice.
I did simulate the worst case (temp, vdd & res) though
10 mhz oscillator
Hi guys/girls, thank you for looking at this thread.
I had designed a Ring oscillator that runs at 10MHz
I had simulate fast/slow corner and find that its within +-20%
I also done Monte carlo simulation
Is there any other type of simulation that i should be doing? Say for...
I'm design in 0.35um TSMC technology
How can i estimate the size of NMOS, PMOS, Capacitor and Resistor that i used
Should the wire be included inthe calculation of size?
I design a 10Mhz ring oscillator but i want to test the worst scenario. Meaning if my component tolerance is +-10%, how much would it affect my oscillation frequency.
I know there' 'fast & 'slow' corner but how do i specify the tolerance?
