remote control. what do you want to control exactly? to make a transmitter and reseiver circuit it's ok, but do you want also to control any operation in the cellular?? do you want to connect the receiver to your cell or it's already connected?
if so, then beleive me! 99% it wont work.

oh. this is a good question. but deoends on the what you mean. whether:
1- comparison between antennas for the GSM or
2- evaluation for a certian antenna if it is working well or what ever.
For mobile cell we use a spherical propagation antenna... (most cases) coz mobility needs a free move...

you can use this to calc
ya analyzer... you can connect both devices to the same antenna coz mainly you need the same kind of antenna and almost the same length range.
to find out what antenna is working for any system you need at leest to know on what frequency band you are working.
then apply this:
minimum antenna length = (0.1)*(3*10^8)/frequency.
Maximum antenna length = (0.5)*(3*10^8)/frequency.
for example...
for UHF TV channels you have a frequency...

almost all mobiles can be converted to a scanner.
if you find anything pls post...
just remove transformer from your circuit... (for the 12v supply)and connct from car batt.
then use high power 7805 (parallel units) or LM317 to convert DC 12v to 5v... i think it's easy, but for more info plz pm me:)
