microstrip shielded microstrip hfss
Hi all,
I need help on microstrip simulations. I am trying to simulate a simple microstrip structure with waveports. I specify 3 modes at each port. I am not sure if I need to draw calibration lines for mode 2 and 3? When I look at the port excitation of...
hfss s(1:1, 2:2)
Hi,
I am looking at a simple rectangular waveguide and simulate in HFSS. I use waveport simulation for up to 3 modes from 1-20GHz. I think the number of modes are sufficient in this case. There are different combinations of S-parameters like S(waveport1:mode1,waveport2:mode1)...
It is pure digital. I need to make the increment control like:
1st cycle: reset
2nd cycle: INC
3rd cycle: INC
4th cycle: INC
5th cycle: INC
6th cycle: No INC
7th cycle: INC
8th cycle: No INC
and so on
Hi,
I am doing this 8-bit counter project. I need to calculate power consumption for this particular input pattern. I was wondering which symbol I can use to specify the voltage waveform pattern for my project?
What is the best way to calculate power in cadence?
Anybody knows? Please help...
hfss port refinement
Hi,
I am trying to simulate a simple rectangular waveguides to check how HFSS simulation works. Basically, I specify waveports with 3 modes. I was running from 1-25GHz. My cutoff freqs are TE10 = 9.72GHz, TE20 = 19.44GHz, TE01 = 24.19GHz, and TM11 = 26.07GHz, ...
I didn't...
dispersion diagram
Hi,
I am trying to construct the dispersion diagram of Sievenpiper's structure by using an eigensolver in HFSS. Basically, I have a unit cell of his structure. I have PML, which is situated at about 5-6times the height of the structure. I define master/slave boundary on the...
