    [SOLVED] Proteus Package Problem

Hi! I have one problem with Proteus package for part LTC1864 ADC. I try to change the package from DIL08 to TSSOP8 but the package gives me error (red circles) as shown in the attached figure from the PCB layout. Can anyone pointed out what is the problem? Thank you.

    Range sensor on water surface

Thank you for your reply. I actually concern more about type of sensor that gives consistence measurement on water...I mean it is not easily affected by water surface such as not easily absorbed/reflected by the water...

    Range sensor on water surface

Hi guys.. I have one simple question. What is the best sensor can be used for range measurement on water surface specifically for obstacle avoidance? Thank you.

Filtering for different type of signals

Hi KlausST! Thank you for your reply. Actually, i would like to design and simulate (before implementation) a signal conditioning circuit for a ping signal with freq of 28 kHz. Consider this ping is produced by an underwater pinger. Now I have to retrieved this signal through a sensor (a...

Filtering for different type of signals

Hi guys! I have one simple question. If I design a filter circuit for a sine wave signal, is it possible for the same filter circuit to be implemented for different type of signals (for example square wave, ping, etc)? The signal have the same frequency and used in the same environment. If yes...

    How to measure linear acceleration?

Yes, you are right..it is due to sensor orientation. Thank you.

    How to measure linear acceleration?

    Thank you barry. I will study on this. For now, this is what i have from the IMU: X: -0.16 Y: -0.59 Z: 8.67 m/s^2 X: -0.20 Y: -0.55 Z: 8.63 m/s^2 X: -0.12 Y: -0.59 Z: 8.63 m/s^2 X: -0.16 Y: -0.55 Z: 8.63 m/s^2 X: -0.16 Y: -0.55 Z: 8.63 m/s^2 X: -0.16 Y: -0.59 Z: 8.63...

    How to measure linear acceleration?

Thank you barry for your response. I do have accelerometer (I have 10 DOF IMU from DF robot). But the problem is does it really represents acceleration due to motion? Or acceleration due to motion + gravity acceleration?

    How to measure linear acceleration?

Hi! We know that accelerometer measure acceleration due to motion and gravity? The question is how we can obtain acceleration measurement due to motion alone?

    GCC-PHAT based time delay estimation

Hu guys! Anyone could help me solve the following problem. I try to simulate time delay estimation in Simulink based on GCC-PHAT method (see Fig1 for explanation). My FFT is correct as I checked it but I'm not sure why I can't get the correct sample delay (in this case 15). My Simulink model is...

    [moved] Electret microphone amplifier

Ok Audioguru, thanks for your help. I will try to make it by using this hydrophones and if not not work I will have to search for a better hydrophone.

    [moved] Electret microphone amplifier

Thank you for your time. Ok let me make everything clearer. I bought low cost hydrophones (electret based) as in datasheet (as in the link below) for about USD159 . The manufacturer told me, that the hydrophone works with common electret microphone amplifier. My purpose is to use four...

    [moved] Electret microphone amplifier

Thank you for the information. Now, it getting more challenging for me. How to measure the output of the hydrophone since it requires bias power?

Hydrophone (underwater microphone) sound/acoustic signal recording

After long period...now I have time to continue my project. Actually my intention is to localize underwater sound source (which is a pinger) using hydrophone array i.e. at least four for 3D source position (x,y,z). It is assume that the source distance is around 50m from the array. How to...
