In the waveform there are spikes at the edges. These spikes often result from missing body to source connection.
Do check for that also in your design.
Also mind when you dimension this also results in increasing self capacitance .So also keep this in check when going for...

If you trying to implement something related with IoT , there is nothing better to interface the electronics with the cloud .
I suggest use the power of ESP8266 or ESP32 and power of cloud to make some intelligent hardware not pseudo IoT ;).

I think if you going to design buck/boost or any sort of power converter.
First thing you should consider is the input voltage-input current range , output power and current rating because the values of the passive components you will be using will depend on the input and output ratings...
