receiver dynamic range
hello
how to calculate the receiver dynamic range if i have the overall noise figure and the output signal to noise ratio ?
if anybody had a good paper/tutorial i d be thankful
hello,
i ve never gone through any amplifier design, but rather mixers, & could find LSSP simply via that mean, my be u can search 4 any specialized tutorials that could help u in understanding this concept 4 amplifiers
this web page can be helpful

hello,
as u already know s-parameters (or small-signal s-paarmetrs) r only applied to linear systems, but wht if we need to charecterize any nonlinear system ?
like transistors, diodes, and many microwave systems.
4 that reason u ll need to apply some nonlinear analysis methods to linearize...
hello man,
the best 2 start with, according 2 my experience, is 1st to review the basics of RF & microwave engineering, & afterwhich choose the topic u r intersted in by better reading some papers and articles.
Phase locked loops, for Blanchard, Alain should be ok
Re: Mixer conversion loss
many thx guys 4 ur replies, but i'm really wondering, coz all of other parameters are almost perfect in my case (IF & LO return loss, and isolation as well) except 4 the conversion loss and at only a certain frequency band, do u think it might be a problem with the LO...
matlab hfss
from the simulation results window in HFSS, choose (Export) and then into data file (touchstone format can be OK) any data format can be equally read by MATLAB
it is not that impossible guys as u say !!
anyway, if was impossible 4 u, then use (Gnuplot) , it is an effeceint alternative and a free famous software
