this is how i config my core
as you see when i was designed the FIR core i asked to generate 12 bit input and 16 bit output BUT Core generated a core that ask me to to supply it with 16 bit input bits and it gives 16 bit Output bits!
Why it changes 12 to 16 automatically ?
problem is that :
when you trying to have a FIR filter with more than 7 taps, and 12 bit as input and 16 as output , the Core generates you a filter that needs 16 bits as in put and 16 bit as output.

I have a 3 mhz interested bandwidth in 39 mhz if frequency,
i am doing a down-convert to get this 3 mhz into the Base band:
Fs=(2Fc-B)/M===> (2*39-3)/6=12.5Mhz

i have 10 mhz bandwidth in 200-210 mhz and i want to convert it to digital with 20msps and 10 bit resolution.

sorry but is not this true that for example if we sample a signal with 20 ms/s so we will have half band of the sampling frequency (10 mhz) ?
secound point: why we can't say it accurately ? so if we not then why almost of spectrum analyzers use this way?

I'm doing a project for spectrum analyzer; i did analog parts ( now i have 0-100 Mhz analog signal ready for sampling).
I wanna show the spectrum in a LCD( i had wrote the code for that in last).
My Question is that :
am i have to convert it to Digital and then take an fft from it and...
