hi..
i have 8 sim 548 modules..
i have connected DEBUG RXD & TXD pin to max 232 to view data on hyperterminal but i am not gatting any thing...
but when i connect to modules txd& rxd i can communicate with module...
in data sheet on debug port section it is written that "/RXD" & "/TXD" is it...

i tried on 9600 baud rate & save this setting using AT&W..
but still no data on debug poart...i checked on DSO still result is same.
except this all other functions are Ok .
is there any procedure required to enable DEBUG port ? or it is activated automatically ?

Thanks for ur reply...yes u r right that was a hardware problem sim_Vdd track is not connected properly.
now sim card is working perfectly ..i also tried to send data on server & sms commands.
BUT STILL DEBUG PORT IS NOT WORKING NO DATA ON IT.!!!! :-(

sorry but it is not modem it is module.
i have built the circuit & use LM 317 for power.
The module can be interfaced to PC using hyper terminal. When the module is powered ON I get the above response (The POWERKEY function is working well).
