Importing structure into AWR Microwave office from IE3D

awr microwave office gerber import Manjunath! I appreciate your help. Could you send me a coaxial probe fed patch antenna design in MWO? So that I could know how it is done?An attached AWR file would be great!

Importing structure into AWR Microwave office from IE3D

awr microwave office 8 hi manjunath! thnx a lot for the reply. I was also interested in knowing how do I import 3d structures into MWO like the coaxial probe alonthe antenna Will MWO give accurate results for coaxial probe fed patch antenna? Can I have a comparison graph of simulation results...

Importing structure into AWR Microwave office from IE3D

antenna design mwo Hey guys! How does one export structures form IE3D and use it inside AWR MWO?I heard there is a direct way of importing the 3d structure itself.I have a coaxial probe fed patch antenna simulated in ie3d I want to introduce this geometry inside Microwave office .i.e the...

IE3D overwriting problem. How does one bypass it?

Hi When you simulate for dB vs freq to get return loss ,you get a graph. Now at the resonances if you want to check the radiation pattern, the saved s -parameters will be over written. How do you avoid this?I cannot afford to select radiation pattern also along with s parameters and simulate.It...

    IE3D simulation warning message.

"Minimum forced meshing occurs between(x,y,z)-(a,b,c) with size y mm <(z mm)Are you sure you want to continue?" Please explain the technical meaning of this .If I continue I get correct simulated results or not?I get the desired frequencies. What does this warning indicate?

Re: A software to Generate Minkowski curve & simulate in Thanks Jian for the quick reply. i needed help in knowing how it is done in matlab or is there any easy GUI software that can generate the co ordinates(position of coordinates as variables) in the sense if we just change the variable all...

A software to Generate Minkowski curve & simulate in ie3

Re: A software to Generate Minkowski curve & simulate in Hello Jian Sorry for the late reply. Was a bit busy.. "Replacing initial" means Lets say there are 4 arms and each arm is replaced by another arm of the same initial geometry and so on...or much better you could see this animation to...

A software to Generate Minkowski curve & simulate in ie3

Re: A software to Generate Minkowski curve & simulate in Thanks to jian and plasma. The act of creating a polygonal figure which is highly iterated or in other words drawing a polygon of such complexity is cumbersome.I know we could just import the x and y coordinated later into ie3d by using...

A software to Generate Minkowski curve & simulate in ie3

minkowski curve How do I generate a 4th iteration or higher iteration minkowski fractal curve using a software?Once I have the coordinates I can use it in ie3d.I want to make it fast.If i do the same on ie3d manually it will consume a lot of time maybe weeks. Please help and suggest a software.
