Any ideas why we are fetching weird waveform in Tiva?

Ooops. I forgot to add the other resistor of the voltage divider there in the to have 1.65 volts in the capacitor. This was the designed and implemented PCB. This schematic had the clipped output which I can't imagine where we were wrong. Something wrong with pin placement in Tiva...

Any ideas why we are fetching weird waveform in Tiva?

My friend is building an energy monitoring for single phase AC. I only helped him in soldering but I do have some knowledge in electronics and arduino. I have soldered already 10 boards (assuming it has been tested already which I later found out was not). For this case, we will be using Tiva. I...

Component Selection of Series Resonant Converter

Actually I haven't seen selection of components for SRC. From what I understood, the H-Bridge produces a square wave. We will then have a series RLC circuit. This resistance can be modeled as an equivalent resistance with the same power only just referred to the primary. The square wave can be...

Component Selection of Series Resonant Converter

I misread your reply. I thought it has something to do with ripple. Anyway, what is the concept behind that rule? What is the drawback of using a large inductance for high currents? How about using large capacitance for small currents?

Component Selection of Series Resonant Converter

Power Factor Corrector Boost Converter Selection for Series Resonant Converter Attached is a circuit diagram of ICE3PCS01G PFC IC of Infineon. A boost converter changes it voltage gain by changing the duty cycle. What I understand on its datasheet is that output is controlled by the voltage...

Component Selection of Series Resonant Converter

Yes. It just feels weird because the capacitor was too expensive so I though there might be other ways implementing it. - - - Updated - - - Below is the sketch of the topology. I also searched about the PFC boost converter you're talking about. I was what I have in my mind when I was dealing...

Component Selection of Series Resonant Converter

    Bridge rectifier. - - - Updated - - - I will send when I get home. I'm accessing through phone right now.

Component Selection of Series Resonant Converter

Ripple in High Power Series Resonant Converter Pre-regulator When is the optimum ripple in a series resonant converter pre-regulator? It's input voltage would be 120V 60Hz and if drawing 17A, I need 28mF of filter capacitance to have less than 5V of ripple. The capacitor cost more than $50. Are...

Component Selection of Series Resonant Converter

How do we size the inductor and capacitor of series resonant full brigde converter? For a specific resonant frequency, there are lots of Capacitor-Inductor combinations with the same resonant frequency. Also, how to compute for current sizing of inductor? Can we directly use the average value...

Suggestion for Camera for Arduino Pro Mini

I meant to send it to phone as a message. - - - Updated - - - I found OV7670 for the cam for arduino pro mini and is it possible to send a snap shot as message when an accelerometer detects motion?

Suggestion for Camera for Arduino Pro Mini

Is there any way to take a snap shot using arduino pro mini and send it to phone? What modules do I need?

    High Voltage Resonant Converter

Output would be DC. From household 120Vac 60Hz to 40KVdc.

    High Voltage Resonant Converter

Is it okay if I use voltage divider in testing a 40kV dc/dc resonant converter? I need to get its voltage output at operating point.

    PCB for currents upto 8A

Got it! Just like what I have in mind. Nice! I'm aware of the arcing due to high voltage. Transformer is wound up already. Here is the link of the transfomer.

    PCB for currents upto 8A

I will be cautious on this. Cool! What's the output of your power supply? I haven't done things in this voltage/power level but I do know how this changes things up. Thank you so much for the advise. I will definitely check out Saturn PCB Toolkit.
