I think that this expression is wrong, CGB=CGS+CSB/CGD+CDB, because the gate capacitance not depend of the depletion capacitances CDB (drain to bulk JUNCTION capacitance) and CSB (source to bulk junction capacitance).

Exactly what area do you want to calculate? You want to know the area of the gate to calculate the resistance of the gate etc, or the area of the difuccion to calculated the resistance or depletion capacitance of the Source and Drain cont.

I am using the BSIM3v3 in ADS without any problem (the model was originally in HSPICE format).

hi, I exported the AMS BSIM3v3 HSPICE (only the transistor model) to ADS using the import file option.
I can not do it with ADS2004A but you can do it with out any problem with ADS2002
The model works well.
