Re: phase demodulator
Could u please explain why as a common way of doing PM demodulation is to use FM demodulator and put an integrator after it. The FM demodulator can be of any type as long as it performs its operation.
Hello everyone
I have to design a phase demodulator at 10.7 MHz. The modulation index is 1.1 radian and the bandwidth of the information signal is 8 kHz.
I am trying to use a technique used in FM demodulation which is to first convert the FM signal to AM signal and then using the diode...
What is the effect of RF/LO frequency on conversion gain of Gilbert cell mixer. If the RF and LO frequency is increased keeping IF the same, the gain is reduced. what's the reason for this. How it can be compensated.
Re: CMOS circulator
Well a circulator is three port device. Its S-parameter matrix has S13=S21=S32=1, the rest are all zero for ideal case. Can I implement a three-port CMOS circuit having similar S-matrix? that will be a circulator.
Can anyone tell me how to find the scatttered field from a PEC (Perfect Electric Conductor) object if the incident field is known. And also how to find the current induced on the PEC.
Re: mixer
What about hybrid coupler. I am trying to avoid transformer balun because it is difficult design the balun having required inductance and coupling co-efficient.
Re: mixer
What about hybrid coupler. I am trying to avoid tranformer balun because it is usually difficult to design or obtain a tranformer with the required coupling coefficient and inductance.
