I am working with PIC18F26J50 and gprs/gsm module sim900 and right now im having a strange problem.
Right now, we are sending from the pic to the sim900 an 'A' to configure the autobauding (8,N,1) and the sim 900 is responding correct the same letter A.

We solved the problem! it was because the pin which is RX in the PIC was defined like an output and not as an input.
