Hi,
if it is an ICD 1 you can burn a 16f876 with the Hexfile
contained in the MPLAB Package from Microchip.
An other way is using the ICD-S Firmware from CCS.
Faster and easyer download for PIC16 AND!!! PIC18 but
no debugging. (compatibel with Microchip ICD 1 Hardware)

1) You can use the original ICD-1 Hardware with CCS Firmware (ICD-s).
2) Free available Software from CCS for Programming PIC16 and PIC18
3) Debugging only with CCS PCW Software (not testet by me)

one way is to use an camera with an RS232 Interface.
(easy programming on PC an uC).
