I have designed a small circuit using Proteus and the simulation works fine.
I built the circuit on breadboard and worked great, was chuffed.
I've decided I want to make a better PCB and not use breadboard, ive used design spark to layout my PCB and had a few made but there is always...
555 Timer Monostable 5V to 3V !
I have made a Monostable 555 circuit that runs on 5V and works fine, lights up my laser.
I need to run the circuit from a 3V battery CR2032, when I use 3V the laser doesn't light up.
Should I use a transistor?
Is the 555 timer not cable of...
I'm looking for a 5-10 metre Bluetooth range device.
The device has too be small enough to be used with a wristband like a Fit Watch ect ect.
Looking at connecting to both ISO/Android type of App.
I'm looking to connect an output from the device to a vibrating mechanism.
I'm a novice...
I'm looking for a small Bluetooth chip with a logic out or a signal out, so if a signal is received or not received the output turns on a small vibrating device.
Is there a Bluetooth chip out there :-S, I've looked but I'm struggling a little, cheers.
Needs to be small about 10mm/20mm
This was my thinking too as I was only getting 7.54ma from the output enough to power and LED but not enough to power the motor.
I tried a BC108 trans but that didn't work, I do have a much more powerful transistor to try.
I don't understand why it shorts out though.
I just put the output of...
I have got a Opto switch, which I want to turn a motor off and on.
So when the switch is active the motor is on.
When the switch is deactive the motor is off.
I have this Opto switch
**broken link removed**
The switch keeps shorting out when I connect the output to my motor, one end of the...
Thanks I did realise this yesterday, I was shorting out across the board.
Now I have it setting across the board but still not joy.
I think I need to work out the correct resistors, I've used 3k and 330 ohms like someone said but when I go direct to the output of the resistor I get no current out
