spectrum analyzer and cro
thanks echo47 for your reply
I am working on an analog CRO and a high voltage signal so I can't use the sound card as I think the signal would be distorted from its original waveform if I tried to attenuate it to a low signal
how can I collect the sampling points you...
matlab+spectrum of signals
thanks Eugen for your reply
I just want to decompose this waveform to its fundamental and harmonics components so that I can know the THD of the nonlinear loads I am using
is there another way?
analog cro working
hi
i took the picture attached from CRO and I want to analyze it using MATLAB to know the harmonic components in it
I don't have a spectrum analyzer so i want to use MATLAB to do this function.
any help??

Emre,
me too, have to design a single phase active power filter
did u find any source to help us?
I have read an IEEE paper that gives a general preview about APF
its name is:
A Review of Active Filters for Power Quality Improvement
Bhim Singh, Kamal Al-Haddad, Senior Member, IEEE, and...
power electronics bhimbra download
i think rashid's books on power electronics are good
they start from scratch from switches (like diodes, SCRs,...) till converters, inverters,...
good luck
Re: applications
I'm studying electrical engineering.. can anybody help me and tell me..
What're the electrical applications of Legendre function?
Best Regards
Re: microwave engineer?
then you don't recommend to be specialized in microwaves only..
now I've a question what's the difference between microwaves and signal processing?
best regards
Re: Confused!!
thanks gopalsamy
can I say that a process is included in an architecture because I can't use sequential statements directly in the architecture.
what about my 1st question :
what's the difference between these reserved words: Quantity , terminal , signal
best regards
I'm learning VHDL-AMS
I'm confused when to use these reserved words :
Quantity , terminal , signal
what's the difference between architecture and process
Can anyone help me please?
thanks in advance
