i am designing my undergraduation project, and i need to design an elevator , which one of these motors would be suite for the design?
(stepper motor or DC motor ) and if it is a stepper , is it accurate? or it needs a sensor to stop at spicific floor?

how do i clear my own bios password if i forget it?

now if i want the motor to rotate to angle 0,then stops,and in other case to rotate to angle -180 ,also -270 angle , what shall i do? i meen what sequense of 0101...... should i write to...
i trying to control astepper motor by uln2003a,this code works but something wrong, when i press the upper button (in the schematic ihave attatched)the motor rotates to the right 90 dgrees then back to form -45 angle then it stopps!
what i realy need to rotate to the right 90 degrees then stops...
i need the motor to rotate 90 degrees or 180 or 270 degrees but i need to know the function of the pins from the stepper side and also from the pic16f877a side (when using ULN2003A as a driver for the stepper motor ) so i can write a good code using microbasic language can you help me with...
here are the code(in microbasic) and schematic design , but iwant the motor to rotate 90 or 180 degrees ,what shall i do ? i think the problem with the code!
hi, when i tried to run this code on this schematic diagram not all the program work ,i want to ask why the input from the keypad not recognized in the degsin,i.e no input from keypad although i press the keys?! iguess that the problem in the microbasic code,thanks

yes i have, i have attached the microbasic program , but when i tried to attach the schematic desgin an error occure (invalid file ), i will try again,thanks alot
