The requirement in the application is that the antenna can detect the tag in the same plane.
I thought the first way but it was little difficult to do on a PCB.
I am not very understand what is "optimize the directive pattern of the TX ANT", can have some explanations?
anyway, thanks you for...
Hi friends,
I recently want to design a RFID tag antenna with working range about 10-15cm. The power supply is 3.7V to 3.8V.
I had designed a rectangular antenna with round corner, however, the working range was about 5cm which is to small to work. Therefore, I want to design an new antenna with...
help me to clear the concepts in electric field
A capacitor consist of two parallel, circular conduction discs with radius b and separated by a small distance h. The space between the circular discs is supported by a concentric circular cylinder with permittivity ε and radius a.

I wonder know how to design a high pass filter from a low pass filter???
I know that a bandpass filter with central frequency Vθ can be designed from a low pass filter with a passband from 0-Vc, it is equal to the length from -Vc/2 to Vc/2, to convolute with a sine wave in frequency domain.
In...
In other words, the symmetrical of the filter will give no distortion to the signal.
However, is the distortion-free signal is the final result of the output?
Will there any other specific results to be given?
In DSP, I have encountered various types of filters.
Among them, I'm most interested in the bandpass filter. I wonder why it is designed in symmetrical about the y-axis?
That's the central frequency of the passbands of a bandpass filter is at frequency(doesn't matter it is normalized or not) v1...
Re: Smith Chart question
Hi biff44,
this is not a homework but an extra question for us to discuss after the lesson. Since I'm not good at the topic, so I may ask in a detailed way...Haha
anyway, I find your link is very helpful for me to solve the problem.
Thanks very much! =]
Re: Smith Chart question
Wim, thanks for your help. But I still have some questions want to ask.
Does RC mean the REFLECTION COEFFICIENT and I'm not understand why it travels clockwise? If there is traveling clockwise or counter-clockwise on the Smith Chart, it must be the load which is moved...
The question may be a bit long....hope you guys can help me to solve the problem
Thanks very much.
The question: **broken link removed** please click
A 2-GHz generator with internal impedance Zg=50ohm is connected to a load with impedance 100ohm. The reflection between the load and the...
I know what you mean.
But in this question, it askes to find the quantization noise power but not the SQNR. And the solution is probably find the SQNR by the formula SQNR=6R, where R is the bits represent in the sample.
Or I confuse the quantization power noise power with the SQNR????
hi all, i have encountered a question when i study the PCM, the question is as follow
In an "24/96" PCM system, 24 bits are used to represent on sample. If the signal power is 1mW, what is the approximate quantization noise power?
and the solution is as follow
1mW=0 dBm ; 24 bits lead to 144...
in Markov Chains, the conditional probability is
P{Xt+1 = j︱Xt= i} =Pij
I don't know what are i and j represent here. Do they represent the step go to j from i or go to i from j???
can anyone give the explanation to me...thanks a lots!
I always get confused in finding the average power maximum power and the maximum instantaneous power dissipated in the transistor, which is an Emitter-Follower device ,for different cases.
case1: Iq=[Vcc-Vce(sat)]/R
case2: Iq<[Vcc-Vce(sat)]/R
case3: Iq>[Vcc-Vce(sat)]/R
It is great for you to...
