Please read the getting started manual available with CST. You can find the steps to obtain radiation pattern in the documentation. Before you start the simulation you must right click on field monitors and then create new field monitors and select farfield monitors. If you read Antenna Theory...
On project tree, right click on field monitor and select powerloss/SAR mointor
I order to for this monitor to register data you will have to define a material that has density values e.g. in the material parameter tab, choose density and insert e.g. Rho: 1200 kg/m^3
Hi,
look for the .txt file (e.g. \Library\Bio Models\Tissues.txt) which describe the properties of the tissues and change it according. You can find the properties of the tissues at your frequency of interest on this website:

Hi Ikminz,
you can define the mesh priority in the human model dialog. The material with the higher priority determines the cell material property.

Hi,
Does anyone know if EMcos EM studio or Feko 6.1 has bi-directional capabilities for cable bundle simulation similar to what is available in CST cable studio? Which is easier to use for complex cable harness simulation in aircrafts?
Many thanks.

Hi,
Have a look at this thesis. You should be able to calculate MEG if you know what to acquire.

If your room is surrounded by metal, you can use perfect electric boundary all round with vaccum to represent your room size. The computing resources will be determined by any fine details your wifi antennas have or perhaps you can use a equivalent source for the antennas.
Have a look at this paper if you have access to IEEEXPLORE.

You may like to use the time domain LF solver - since u have a pulsed signal. You have to define your geometry & a current source. Use your signal waveform as the current source. There are examples in the ems tutorials that may show you how to do this. Also go to the CST website and look for...
Hi, spirited09 - to quickly solve your port error problem, go to global mesh propertiy and increase the mesh line ratio limit to say 50. Highlight coaxial_shielding and set local mesh properties to e.g. say dx:0.05, dy:0.05,dz: 0.5. These mesh settings may not be optimial (try your own to reduce...
