I tried your suggestion as below but I still can't run ADE XL. Could you eleborate the detail - command, and exact directory name.
I'm using RHEL6.5.
Maybe suggest other solution?

I installed IC6.1.3 using iscape and configured the path. but when I run "virtuoso &". It says " command not found".
I tried the base IC610. It works.

when I run SpectreRFworkshop-LNA design and got a fatal error.

Must use csh. In Fedora 9, it's tcsh.
Using tcsh, no those error message during installation.
one solution for icfb running problem:
add/remove software -> search "x11-fonts" -> check each fonts and apply
then icfb run without the error - "X Error of failed request...
