DWDM edfa calculations
i am trying to work through some c/n degradation calculations when i use an EDFA in an optical DWDM system. However i found very little examples through the internet.
Anyone any suggestions?
since COFDM is build of a lot of carriers in 6,7,or 8 MHz lineairity must be good. Otherwise intermodulation would damage the signal.
These transmitters have an efficiency about 12%.
