I have a problem with mentioned monitor. It doesn't power up. When you push the on/off switch, the LED become green for 2 seconds, and then it turn off. After that the monitor is death. I've checked the fuse all the power transistors (FET and BJT) and replaced one (BU2520DX)...

Do you have PCB from Rod Elliot or you have done it yourself? I have build 3 of this Preamp + Amp on my boards and they work all OK. What OP Amp do you use? If you use the OPA2134 you must put 10uF + 100nF from each power pins to ground nearest possible to op-amp and also...
Is enybody there who used this ICs and could tell me which one is better sounding? I know that they are very old but I have them (new) and I want to make some mcu controlled preamp. The main problem is which one is better.

I've chect but there is no real answer. I post the same question in given forum also so I will see if anybody can help me. The problem is that I'm just learning the PicMicro programming so I have some truble that I don't know how to solve.
