yes you can,
for that you have to confug. your device as slave device and than with SMBUS by using PCI you can comunicate with your device,

I think i have to ask question in simple way..
How i can acess Sensor chip which is on ISA or SMBUS ..
If any have sample code or utility or any application then send me..
when i was in collage at that i made same thing and transfer file sucessfuly waht i do is very easy..and step i tel you,
- Take input file from user
- Made paket (exm 16 byte of file) which also has pcket no. and CRC field
- calculate CRC of packet (by using simple CRC = b1^b2^...) and add it...
