i wished to help you, but i dont have an experience in 8052 ... but it is very easy to interface sd card using PIC microcontroller using SPI protocol , however i think it is better to use mikroc compiler if you want to learn C for microcontroller or Flowcode if you are not interested in...

in I2C (100 KHZ = 100 Kbps) and (400 KHZ = 400 Kbps) and so on ...
Note that, the most data rate used in I2C is 100 Kbps
hello every one i try to interface MMC with Atmega32 to working with FAT16 on it, i send data to MMC sector and then read from that sector, every thing here is ok , but when i try to use "MMC FAT16 library" the microcontroller Does not respond any command "i mean code before MMC FAT16 functions"...
