i've done some research, burned a few, but i finally manage to replace sk8085 with uuc3842.
here it goes:
swap pin 1 and 2 (comp and feedback)
mount 100k resistor between 1 and 2
remove capacitor between gnd and pin 4
mount RC network between 4 (ref out), 8 (RC), and gnd (eg. 10k...

thank you, already search there, but this model has transistor-based power amplifier, rather than stk-based on the other pioneer models. still searching ....
temperature sensor
usually the soldering iron has a built-in probe, a thermocouple, that gives a voltage based on tip's temperature. you may try to use a spms to drive the iron, based on that voltage (tl494, uuc3842)
has anyone used this ic? originally it was made by Unitrode, but they merged with TI, and nobody knows a replacement for it. It seems to be more likely a 3842, but with internal Rt/Ct ....

Also try Intersil They were very nice, sent me the samples requested in less than one week. Dallas/Maxim sent me a couple of packages, but then they redirect me to the local distribuitor in Romania, Ecas. No answer since then.
