I want to find mosfet to switch power to a usb modem dongle.
my raspberrypi output pin is 3.3 volts and my usb modem power is as expected, 5 volts.
Is there a mosfet at a gate voltage of 3.3volts that will fully switch on and supply 5 volts power without much drop across drain and source...
Actually it is a 4013 flip flop. I'm just using one half and I have tied all the inputs to the other flipflop to vcc. ( I think that is the right way to treat unused inputs.)
Any way I think I'll try it and see what happens.

can I
parallel up a cmos cpip's input , output and suppliy pins - soldering one chip on top of another - or connecting them together on a pcb in order to gain more current output?
