    Xbee series 2 digital output

Nothing connected to the pin. No chage in output. The firmware version shows:20A7 Today I read in a manual that 27A7 firmware indicates Router/end device digital i/o So does that mean that digital i/o change only when it is an endpoint or router and its given a remote command?

    Xbee series 2 digital output

I am trying to turn the Digital I/O pins of Xbee 'low' and 'high' using AT commands. I send the commands in the following sequence: +++ OK ATD05 OK ATWR OK ATD0 5 ATCN This stream should make my output pin 0 "high" but it does not happen so. Do I need to configure them somehow? Is it so...

    PIC32 MCU seems obsolete

I've selected PIC32MX350f256H based on my RAM requirement of minimum 64kB but when I went on to buy the controller I've utterly failed to search any good online store website selling this controller. I could get it from microchip directly but I'm worried whether it is a proper controller to...

    Communication I2C with PIC32 failed

You need to post your complete code buddy. If you are using header files beware of them. There are several header files which check the flags in an incorrect manner and hence the communication is hindered. I faced similar problem in I2C with PIC18 and finally was successful when I coded the...

Problem with UART communication using PIC32MX220F032B

Buddy, I'm getting error with the bits and the data is shown to specify what type of error is occuring....

Problem with UART communication using PIC32MX220F032B

Hello FvM, thankyou for your response. I've configured almost perfectly well. I've checked the baud rate on CRO. The baud seems to be ok. I'm not perfectly sure. On the other hand I have a PIC18f4550 development board which receives and displays data on LED. I also need guidance on how to use...

Problem with UART communication using PIC32MX220F032B

hello, I have been trying this out since 3 days and continuously facing the same problem after trying all I know. The problem I am facing is that when I send a byte the MSB sent is always '1' and the 3rd bit starting from LSB is skipped. A really strange thing. The data I receive is as under...

Port H as input in PIC18f87j11

Hello, I've been trying to use PORTH as input in PIC18f87j11 but unable to use it. I successfully used PH0-PH3 pins of port as input but unable to use the entire port. Need an urgent help on it. M ready to pay for it even if the task is done . An immediate money transfer on receiving a solution...

    Fan regulation using PIC18f4550

Hello Friends, I've achieved control of fan speed using triac and zero crossing detection circuit. But there is a constant humming sound in fan because of the frequent turn on and turn off of the fan by spliced AC wave since I am using phase angle control to control fan speed. On seeing a fan...

Trouble with fan speed regulator using PIC18f4550

Hey dude, need help once again. I dimmed the fan too easily but the problem is that the fan turns off if I trigger after the first half of positive half cycle of voltage. Seems like it is because of current lag as fan is inductive load.....so I have set 5 steps in the first half of the cycle...

Trouble with fan speed regulator using PIC18f4550

Hey give me five dude...:D I dimmed a bulb finally with just change in optocoupler. Its moc3021. Will look now for the heating problem. Currently i have a small heat sink only. So will try and achieve success somehow....keep helping...:D

Trouble with fan speed regulator using PIC18f4550

Ohk,Thanks dude. M trying it with MOC3021 now. Will use snubber circuit too and then check heating. What was the value of resistor that you used? Was there a resistor between gate and A1 terminal or only one resistor between A2 and gate? A1 is 1st pin of triac, A2 is 2nd and 3rd is gate

Trouble with fan speed regulator using PIC18f4550

Hello jpganesh, Thanks a lot for this suggestion. But still I'm confused why MOC3010 failed then??? It doesnt have a zero crossing detector...:( Also my triac BTA24-600B heats up at just 2A which is highly impractical. I'm using 8.2k resistor at gate terminal

Trouble with fan speed regulator using PIC18f4550

But what difference would the change in optocoupler make?? Zero crossing is needed to sychronize the triggering pulses with the AC wave. But I'm unable to achieve it successfully when trying with fan....:(

Trouble with fan speed regulator using PIC18f4550

Hello Friends, I've been trying to make an AC fan regulator that can be controlled electronically using a controller. I have already detected the zero crossing perfectly using 4n35 optocoupler. I've seen the pulses on the digital oscilloscope too. I saw the rectified wave and zero crossing...
