Have you ever wondered shashi ,why when you provide reset pin of AT89C51, code execution begins from location 0x0000 .Its bcoz of this firmware running on AT89C51 chip.Firmware is nothing but a startup code permanently stored on uC chip which runs before any of the user program.

p89v51rd2 programmer circuit
Thing is that my circuit is ready. I am using MAX232 & 74LS125 for serial interface.
DTR is goin through 74LS125 & to RESET pin of 89V51RD2.
Even in FLASHMAGIC when I press U I get reply as U.
But when I try to program IC , a window pops up saying RESET device...

Best Way is to use boot manager which comes Drive parttioning software(Partition Magic or Paragon Partition manager).
It is very easy to use.
Solves all ur booting problems,surely.

Follow these steps:
1.Get some partition manager like Partition Magic Or Paragon Parttion Manager.
2.With this manager create drive with atleast 10GB's ,keep the format as EXT3 & make sure this is PRIMARY Partition & space of drive is at end of the disk.

I want to do a project on single master-multi slave communication using I2C protocol. Master is gonna be a 89c51.

See,we cannot have infinite threads, because a fiber has a stack, and it is the address space required by the stack that is the limiting factor nearly all of the time.

I don't why u people are making simple problem so complex.
Simply put transmitter in one arm of seat & transmitter in other.
You can use simple IR led for transmission & TSOP1738 for reception.

You can use IC CMX866 from CML Microcircuits.
It has inbuilt DTMF generator & a RS232 interfacing facility.
It also has inbuilt AT command interpreter with which you can dial/answer from PC.
