Hi all,
I was glancing to the attached bandgap paper where the following resistive DAC has been used as a trimming network:
Unfortunately, the paper spends a few words on it.
Does anyone has a paper, book or something else to better undersand Trimming DAC functionality?
In particular I'm...
bandgap stability
Hi all,
**broken link removed**
In this bandgap the startup circuit works fine untill I apply an offset (vos) to the opamp.
With a positive offset, all it's ok but witha negative one the loop becomes open!
Why does it happen?
Any suggestion to avoid this bad behavior...
how to find eox in a mosfet
Hi,
are you using Analog Design Environment for your simulations?
If yes just choose:
Results -> Print -> DC Operating Points
and then click on the MOS you want to know Cox.
Now read the parameters like Cgg, Cgs, Cgd, etc...
Try to calculate Cox following the theory...
Reference Voltage
1GHz is a very high frequency (really have you a comparator that works at such freq? If yes what is the architercture?).
Sorry, I was meaning bootstrapped switch... but: also the resistance of the switch could enter in the calculation of the RC constant time (tau). Have you...
Re: Reference Voltage
first of all, if ladder internal nodes don't succeed to reach their steady state voltage (or almost it) supplied by ideal supply voltage source you have no possibilities to reach just mentioned target with any real voltage source (for example a voltage regulator mentioned...
Re: Reference Voltage
at the moment how do the begin and the end of your ladder are connected?
that's, for example: between two analogLib voltage generator?
CBs
Re: Reference Voltage
usually in adc impementation a voltage regulator coupled to both the begin and to the end of the ladder provides to it the current needed to recovery the intermediated voltage references to the target values in the wanted time (depending on the bits of resolution and the...
Re: Curvature-Compensated BiCMOS Bandgap with 1-V Supply Vol
Hi amriths04 and thanks for you answer.
Do you know that paper? Have you read it?
I'm trying to design that circuit, following the equations described but it seems no possible to reach a performance below 10ppm/^C.
I'm using a 0.35...
curvature compensated bicmos bandgap
Hi all,
I'm trying to do the design described in this Malcovati's paper (attached):
"Curvature-Compensated BiCMOS Bandgap with 1-V Supply Voltage"
The circuit schematic is this:

Does anyone has already done a similar design...
bandgap reference ppm
Hi all,
I have to design a bandgap circuit (curvature compensated I guess...) to reach the performance of:
10 ppm/^C.
Usually, I calculate the "ppm/^C" as follows:
PPM = 1000000 * Vbg(T) / Vbg(@25^C) [ppm/^C]
Please, do you have some advices about the bandgap...
