BASIC STAMP
i want to connect a basic stamp to an ISD2590 to activate multiple messages. I have an MT8870 going into the basic stamp.
The Mt8870 has a binary output that depends on what number is dialed on the telephone. I want that output to activate different messages in the ISD

i connected this and it worked well in the house phone, but when i tried on my phone used on college campus, it either didnt do anything or just completely had the phone not work.
anybody know whats going on??

I'm trying to build an audio dial tone. So when the person dials a number on the phone pad, they will be able to hear out loud what number or button they pushed verbally instead of a dial tone.
