I had constructed a 4-bit mode LCD Display with microcontroller.
But the problem is the main program seem like will keep looping because the LCD display will show back the message all over again after till the end of the program.

I get the relay model HE3621A0500 and I try to connect with transistor and ULN2003 without microcontroller to test it but it seem not working.
Can I know the right way of testing the reed relay and ULN2003?

I saw most of the application connect with 12V relay and ULN2003 pin 9 is connected with 12V supply.
In my case I am using 5V reed relay which is HE3621A0500, the pin 9 of ULN2009 should be connected with 5V?
I think I will use AT89C51 ED2 as my micro-controller.
But I not yet get it cause less selling on market :)
If I get a relay that got diode suppression coil mean that i do not need to add the diode IN4148 like attach on picture above?
