Hi, I am in a spot of bother with the ADC conversion of a simple resistor ladder network. What i have is a series of 150(1%) ohms resistors with every other terminal of the resistor connected to o/p of a hall sensor.Yes,the hall effect sensors and the resistors are equal in no. Sort of like this...
Hi folks,I am using pic16f689 to interface 5 7-seg displays through max6950 driver.I am a bit confused in deciding whether to go for the hardware spi or do it the software bit toggling way.will the software overload be much.
Also ,can i use the I2C interface instead (I dont have many pins...
For theoretical readings, refer to color codes (resistors) and numeric codes (capacitors).u must be knowing this m sure.
For practical readings,One way is to trace the circuit.First measure power supply current, then if u hav a resistor in series, remove one resistor end(not the one towards the...
picaxe 18x datasheet
They all come easy once you get a hang of it aka DATASHEET.i started with 8051 and although the development board to start off with is a bit expensive it is worthwhile.
PIC architecture is pretty robust and the ones with ICSP(in-circuit programming) won't cost you a...
gsm gm47
Hi fellas, i have a GM47 sony eric..Gsm modem fitted onto a module. It was supplied by comtech ,module name being OEM GPRS-2E.The module is rs-232 compatible and can be connected to a pc directly.
The problem is that when i use the terminal program(not hyperterminal) to send the AT...
Re: RFID
Look around for a PROMAG RFID module .They give a range from 8 cm upto 20 cm. The data could be 10 characters for each tag and you can choose between ASCII,WIEGAND..... data o/p.
good luck
Re: RFID data
So, wud i need another interfacing chip like max232 to be used with these port pins.what the RFID module gives me is RS232 TTL data as mentioned before.
n instead of timers for softuart ,why cant i poll the pins continously(cause i dnt need the mcu to do anything but receive data...
I have data coming in from an RFID module in RS232 TTL format(13 charaters). I need to use a general purpose I/O port pin(MC68HC11) to act as a UART receiver to read the data from the RFID module.Does anyone know the software overhead required to do so and also the way out?
n What are the...
