[SOLVED] Project to replace CY7C64613 in the ICD2

thanks for your answer andy :) added the pull-up and pull-down resistors and changed the 10uF to a 1uF capacitor on Vusb, but still no luck. My FOSC,CLKDIV config value is: 0000 1111 0010 0100. Is that correct? I'm kinda lost with the value table of the datasheet :/

[SOLVED] Project to replace CY7C64613 in the ICD2

no PCB at all, it's mounted on a breadboard, and without external pull-up, the internal pull-up is working perfectly fine, if it wasn't, windows wouldn't detect the device correctly. PS: I'm using a 20MHz xtal also for the 18F4550, maybe that's a problem and it should be 24MHz? But then I...

[SOLVED] Project to replace CY7C64613 in the ICD2

ok... now I'm getting always Connecting to MPLAB ICD 2 ICD0289: Unable to re-program ICD2 USB OS firmware. ICD0021: Unable to connect with MPLAB ICD 2 MPLAB ICD 2 Ready and I'm not getting anymore the connect/disconnect sound while in MPLAB, (only when I really connect the device). Could...

[SOLVED] Project to replace CY7C64613 in the ICD2

First I'd like to thank everyone who has contributed to this project. But I got a small (or huge) problem. I've built it now on a breadboard, windows detects the 4550 correctly, installs the microchip drivers, but when I tell MPLAB to connect, I hear the windows sound of "usb device...

Problem with detecting DS1075 on a 1-wire network

hi, I'm having some trouble with the DS1075. I'm using a DS2490 to connect a 1-wire network to the PC, and it works with everything I tested, for example DS1990. but for some reason, it won't detect the DS1075 on the 1-wire network. the DS-1075 is connected to the GND and the 1-wire, using a...

    6L SOT23 to DIP Adapter

there are some other companies selling those adapters, but they won't be much cheaper. Point probably would be, either to solder wires to each pin ( I did that when prototipying with the DS2490 ) or to make an adapter PCB, and solder with a lot of time, and being really careful the SMT-chip to...

Help me design a weight detector for a water filling system

Re: Weight Detector I would also suggest using a load cell, as they are pretty easy to use and calibrate, and are really accurate. If you need more info on load cells, I can provide some, as I work with them pretty often :) The suggestion of using a flow meter, is, in my opinion, not very...
