Thanks for your reply, but that is not I want,
Users may put different type of battery, maybe alkaline or maybe NiMH....,some of them are rechargeable and others are not.
The circuit that I want is to distinguish from them.
Hi all:
I want to design a circuit that to determine if the battery is chargable, then shows in LED.
That is ,I can maybe put alkaline , carbon-zinc or NiMH battery .....
But I have no idea how to start, anyone can help me ?
Thanks
Re: AC to DC ?
Thanks all
The circuit that I post was my boss give, but it can't work, the MOSFET is not switching. It seens there has some problems in the photo coupler circuit.
Can anyone tell me how to modify the circuit, but the only and most important is "cost".
Thanks a lot...
AC to DC ?
Hi all
I want to design a AC to DC power, but I have no idea how to start,is there any related data or reference circuit ?
AC input : 85V ~ 250V
DC output : 4.5V ,1A
Thanks

Discontinuous mode ?
Hi all
I have a question about switching power...
In buck circuit, why the output voltage still remain normal even in discontinuous mode ?
Can anyone explain it in detail ?
Thanks

Re: Is 8bit enough?
Hi Ianp
Do you mean that after ADC complete,it might be "waste" some times then be delivered to the UART?
That is exact I worried. My DSP need to have fast response to do something after press the keys. Will it be delayed by UART ?
Is 8bit enough?
Hi all
I have a 8 bit MCU in my system, most of the signals are used as GPIOs,and there are 5 ADC be used as key detect.
Because the MCU is connect to DSP through UART, I'm afraid that response of the keys will too slow.
Is it better to use 16 bit MCU,or doesn't matter.
Thanks...
Re: Compensation network ?
Sorry that unclear
The compensation network is used in switching power
It looks like a feedback from output
As I said , there are three different types , but how do I decide which one I can use ?
Thanks

Compensation network ?
Hi all
What is the compensation network used for ?
There are type I ,II and III, what's the difference ?
Thanks
