    Looking for cavity filter design

Re: cavity filter design Hi lambdaanttech Watch if this thread helps you https://www.edaboard.com/threads/36752/ Good luck

    please solve this equation

There is no closed form solution. You have to integrate it numerically. The function is very smooth between 0 and \pi. so you can use a low order Gaussian quadrature method. But before that, get a basic book on numerical analysis and try to improve your math skills. BTW the answer is...

How to excite TM10 waves in a waveguide

I don't get the point. Why do you want to use a TM mode? In rectangular waveguides TE10 or TE01 are always the dominant modes and you are surely going to excite them before a TM mode appears...

How to excite TM10 waves in a waveguide

Assuming a cutoff freq of 150 MHz and a normalized waveguide (a=2b), you need a 1m x 0.5m waveguide for a TE10 mode (a bit large) Are you sure you want to use a waveguide for this freq? In a rectangular waveguide neither m nor m subindex can be 0 for TMmn modes

Please, please, please urgent help needed for 25GHz, filter

Re: Please, please, please urgent help needed for 25GHz, fil 200 um is not unrealistic at 25 GHz It's very usual. Nevertheless, your specs are a bit fuzzy. What should be the attenuation in the stop bands? Flat or equirripple bandpass?...

Is the S21 plot result given in the voltage ratio or the power ratio in ADS Momentum?

Re: S21 in ADS Momentum S parameters are actually power-wave ratios [W]^1/2. You cannot assume that all you reference port impedances are the same. I know, I know, we all are working with Z0i=50 but I'm a little academy biased :-)

    3 layer simulation in ADS

If you put an ideal ground plane between the two substrates, there will be no coupling between them. You have to put slots on the ground plane or vias between cond and cond2 Good luck

what can i deduce from the following eye_diagram?

Simulations are far away from real life, sure. :-)

What causes my simulation so inaccurate?

Just watching the results (dds file) , inductance reads 0.45 nH (4.47e.10) not 44.7 nH.

[SOLVED] construct Chebyshev 5-Element Low-Pass Filter

https://hamwaves.com/antennas/inductance.html I have used it to design an HF (3-30 MHz) filter bank and it works fine (at least for me) Be careful, i'ts not a synthesis tool but it's useful if you know (more or less) the number of turns you need.

design of half wave dipole antenna

You can design a half length dipole at whatever freq you want and you don't need any sophisticated tool (freely NEC versions are enough, even paper and pencil). I think vfone says that, even if you can built it (two arms of 1.5 mm length) it will not work as an antenna. Losses will ruin its...

    Antenna array design problem

Hi Your two antenna ports has a phase difference of 30 degrees. Thats true. But it doesn't mean your array is going to point its maximum towards thetha=30 Assuming that: the distance between them is d there is α phase difference between them your free space wavelength is λ0 your array is going...
