just missing the firmware, or do i get that from microchip?
also the chip used for firmware, what software do i use to flash it over parallel port.

are you saying the programmer you linked is a pic kit 3 clone?
also is it worth it investing in pickit 3 over pickit2? i understand the pickit3 suppose to support all new PICs, i want to ask has the hobby community found a way to update pickit2 to support new...

hi, im trying to make a simple AT89S52 based POV, and it seems to work in the simulation under reads51 software. however after i made the board and programmed the chip it doesn't do anything all LEDs remain off.
i know the board is working fine because i programmed the chip to flash the LEDs...
