1, when u want to model the frequency selective channel ,multi tap required!
For flat fading, only single tap needed! Single or multi tap depends on your
symbol interval and channel delay spread

Totally wrong!
single tap still means u receive signals from a lot of path!!
The receiver get a lot of signals from different paths,but all they come at the same
time, so the signal do not suffer frequency selevtive fading!!

actually,
mean() function do the time average!
the definition of E(.) is E[x]=∑xif(xi)! so amihomo is right!!!
we often use time average instead of ensemble average if the random process
is ergodic!!

I think Normalization mainly used for Fair Comparison!!
When we compare two communication schems,we should make sure they have the same power!
In matlab simulation,we always do normalization in order to adjust the SNR easily!
Any mistake please correct me!
