THX 4 Ur answer.. Does it mean that I have to make the substrate thicker?? I'm so confuse.. This is a frequency independent antenna. So the frequency of this antenna will only depends on its angle.. So I think the length of the arm will not affect...

when a=0.7, 1 and 1,5 how many is your turn? not in one half turn...

in my log-spiral antenna design, Z parameter has large real and imaginer, for real about 220 ohm and for imaginer about 200 ohm. but in theory, there isn't imaginer in spiral and real is only about 188.5 ohm.
How to reduce that imaginer and decrease that real...

as i know, equiangular spiral antenna can be used to detection buried object in ground because of its gain and circular polarization. it is used for GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) systems.

i'd created log spiral design. when i run it, i'd got some weird results.
for examples: in radiation pattern, 3D polar plot and 3D rectangular plot.

when i simulated my spiral, i haven't got right radiation pattern. in my polar radiation pattern, i only got pattern like circle/spot and it didn't in the x, y or z axis.
and in my vswr, i only got spot too, not likes curve frequency.

maybe i can suggest you to use m-file and GUI rather than simulink....in m-file and GUI you can set your parameter in microwave link more dynamic.and i think it is very comprehensive to simulate point to point microwave link....
