As the BER gets smaller the number of trials required increases. Without enough trials you may not get any errors from the simulation. This is true for any BER simulation.

Do you have enough samples to generate the BER calculation? For the 2TX-2RX simulation at about 7dB SNR the BER is about 10^-4. To simulate this BER you should have at least N = 10/Pb = 10 / (10^-4) = 10^5 samples (trials).
