Hi,
I want to make circuit for interfacing speaker with microcontroller using audio amplifier. i have few queries regarding controlling the speaker. Kindly help me to clarify.
1) To vary the tone, can i change the input frequency to speaker ?
2) To vary the volume, can i change the input...
I want to use regenerative breaking concept for breaking 24V, 3A, 30000RPM BLDC motor with hall sensor feedback.
1) Kindly check below breaking procedure is correct or not.
To activate regenrative breaking, switching OFF all higher side MOSFET and applying PWM to lower side MOSFET's in...
Hi All,
I'm looking for Linear motor for my application.
Motor shall have continuous force to be around 3-4 Newton. and stroke length(travel distance) to be 12-15mm. It shall be operate at least 30Hz frequency. Size shall be 20-30 mm length.
Searched following actuator types...
Hi,
N channel MOSFET Saturation operation condition is Vds > (Vgs - Vth).
But in saturation region, MOSFET will act like closed switch. hence Vds is approximately 0V(Rds*I). Examble VGS = 10V and VTH is 2V, and if switch is closed means VDS= 0V, but above formula is not satisfied.
Anyone...
Hi All,
Identified Motor driver output is the EMI noise source. Added suitable Ferrite core nearer driver output cable, EMI noise is reduced much.
Thanks for all your technical support provided to clear this issue.
Hi,
KlausST Thank you so much for all your answers, its more useful for me.
Really not having idea of how to test/debug this. That's why guessing some root causes.
Motor cable length is 17cm.
I'm using shielded cable for BLDC motor. but ferrite core i want to check.
Without AC power...
HI,
I'm controlling BLDC motor(Blower) using Half bridge driving circuitry. When running only blower during EMI testing, at 63MHz frequency more EMI noise is producing(6db more than limit).
Half bridge driver circuit switching frequency is 30kHz and Gate resistor is 100 ohm. Driver is...
Hi,
Battery cell can deliver current based on load. I'm using Samsung 33G cell, which has 6A continous and 9.75A discontinous discharge current. Can i use it for 9A for 20mins ?
Thanks, Now I checked with 45 turns CM choke.Issue is repeating. Then added two 45 turns CM choke assembly in series with SMPS DC output, Not seeing much improvement.
Thanks to FvM and Easy Peasy for giving valuable suggestion.
I checked with common mode choke and Ferrite core with 8 turn at SMPS output terminal. Issue reproducing.
I connected Copper plate( 3mm thickness and 1*1 inch dimension) to SMPS earth terminal, but no improvement.
I want to try...
Hi,
I'm using class 2 medical graded SMPS in our device. So earth connection not recommended. When connecting SMPS to Load(contains Capacitive Touch LCD),
Touch function getting affected by SMPS noise. When connecting SMPS earth point to Protective Earth, LCD touch function working...
Hi,
In brief, my description is i want to use LTC4015 IC for separate charging and discharging path. From application circuit, to implement separate charge and discharge path i want to
remove OUTFET drain terminal connection(U2) and connect it to battery discharge positive terminal...
Hi Klaus,
Sorry for miscommunication, SYS terminal is the input voltage pin. Rocker switch is connected across J2 connector in Schematic. Switch not included in schematic. connected external to board.
that is ON-OFF rocker switch.
Hi,
In Schematic 2, When connecting U2(OUTFET MOSFET) drain terminal to Inductor terminal and after removing C69, C70 capacitor, board is functioning properly. This circuit is same like schematic 1. I hope there is no issue with layout.
I have a doubt about whether we can separate...
