Re: Proteus Error "too many iterations without convergence"
Thanks for your reply, but I do not understand why the values of AD620 is not ture.
I tried to simulate AD620 before, using the same amount of input voltage, and each output is 1.96V which is reasonable.
Hi there, I just would like to design a non inverting summer using OP27,
but when I try to simulate, the error keep display
GMIN step failed,
source failed,
too many iterations without convergence,
Real time simulation failed to stop
How could I solve this problem?
Anyone helps me please...
Yes, in terms of wavelength.
For the half-wave, dipole has a radiation resistance around 80 ohms (for printed version) so it very easy to make a matching component.
In case of, short dipole (one-tenth wavelength) has a very small impedance at the terminal which I don't know how to make a...
If I would like to design a printed version of an electrically short dipole antenna, is it possible?
I read some paper about the printed version of half-wave dipole and their co-planar feed line is contain the impedance around 50 ohms
because the radiation resistance of have-wave dipole is...
Hi there, I am curious that Array factor and total gain of array is it the same or not?
if it is not the same how to calculate it.
Thank you for all helps

One more thing, if the separation distance of antenna is 0.65 wavelength, what would be the phase difference between...
Hi there,
I have one more question about printed dipole array.
Now I designed two element of printed dipole array. The return loss of the two element is shifted up around 100 MHz.
This doesn't make sense for me, because I think when we increase the dimension of antenna, the return loss...
Well, normally this type of antenna is like you described, that is two dipole patches interconnected before then they connected to the ground.
But this antenna, he achieve matching by adjusting the bulun, and the slot line acts like short stub. If you cannot imagine I can send you a paper, and...

Here is the antenna I want to simulate.
I will design it on FR-4 with the thickness of 1.6 mm, and dielectric constant is 4.4.
The dimensions are shown below.
Wd = 15 mm
Ws = 1 mm
Wg = 30 mm
Wm = 17 mm
wm = 3 mm
Hm = 15 mm
Lm =16 mm
and the reflector ground...
Thank you for your concern PlanarMetamaterials, I will find it out soon.
However if anyone has an experience about XFDTD please help me. I am in a rush hour!!
Hi there,
I am working on printed dipole antenna array.
I an new for XFDTD design, and I really need help.
For making understanding, I started to design Microstrip ; one end I put feed component 50 ohms
and put passive load 50 ohms on the other end. The result was as I expected.
After...
I have been studying how to design a printed dipole antenna and I couldn't understand about the width and length of it.
In microstrip design handbook says "typically strip width less than 0.05*wavelength". But I have read many literature, and it's never close to what I have read.
I will...
