erratic behavior
I am programing a 8051 chip in c. I have to use a keypad to increment and decrement numbers. If I push the increment or decrement key to many times (20) the program jumps to another section of code. Sometimes it puts characters all over the screen. Any help would be appreciated.
ADC1 always reads 0xFF
I am using silab's C8051F020 chip. I setup the adc but the value in the adc1 register is always 0xFF. Vref is 2.4V and the voltage from the temp sensor is .74 V. My understanding is the register should read 0xFF if the sensor output voltage is around 2.4V. Why is the...

I am making a real time clock. I cannot figure out how to convert the values to display in decimal form on my lcd.
example:
If I have 0x14 in my minutes variable how do I convert it to 20 decimal and display it on the lcd?
