[SOLVED] UPS for desktop is not working

I was expecting around 12v from the output. Since it came as 0.2v, I thought board in trouble. How you say that battery is worn out.. will it not be problem with PCB?

[SOLVED] UPS for desktop is not working

Hi, I am having a UPS for my desktop PC. Suddenly its not working. I removed the covers and measured the voltages.. The battery is a 12V 7.5AH capacity. I measured the voltage while its charging --> it increased from 1.0 V to 3.2 V slowly in 30 minutes and it stayed there. it did not increase...

    Interrupt during the context switching

Since the PC is not loaded with the vector address of low priority interrupt(low priority isr has not yet started to execute), how does it will be pushed into stack?

    Interrupt during the context switching

Hi, If a high priority interrupt triggers while context switch for the low priority interrupt is in process(not completed), what will happen? For the following scenario. main program executing.. low priority interrupt triggers.. PC pushed to stack Status register moved to Stack How priority...

    Analog opto isolator

Hi, I want an 1:1 opto isolator for the voltage ranges from 0 V to 3.3 V. Say if 1.2 V is given to the input of opto isolator, i need the same 1.2 V from the output. Is there any ready made IC available? or pls suggest a method to do this by using the conventional digital opto isolator..

    Digipot interface with VFD

Hi, I am interfacing the AD5258 digipot IC with the VFD drive in order to give the analog voltage from 0 to 5V. Since the entire PCB sharing the ground with the PCB, --> The microcontroller experience some noises and unwanted behavior when the drive is ON ( Motor is Running) --> The...

    Does SN65HVD1786D needs TVS diodes?

SN65HVD1786D is meant for protection of power supply short with the RS485 lines. If i use SMAJ12CA at the lines like this ( RS485 A --> SMAJ12CA --> GND ) and Say if 24V is shorted with RS485 A line; will this permanent short destroy the SMAJ12CA?

    Does SN65HVD1786D needs TVS diodes?

It has been given as +/- 16KV. I generally uses SMAJ12CA. I think, no need to put this SMAJ12CA. Am i correct?

    Does SN65HVD1786D needs TVS diodes?

Hi, I am planning to use SN65HVD1786D for RS485 communication. Normally we use TVS diodes at the pair of cables to avoid transient surges. Since SN65HVD1786D has inbuilt fails safe modules for power short, Is it mandatory to have any TVS diodes like SMAJ12CA at the A and B lines?

Calculation - Torque required for a motor

I have seen some robotic arms where they are having some motor at the joints. The load has been accessed by an ARM from that joint. The ARM is not supposed to have the counter weight there..

Calculation - Torque required for a motor

As per my application, i can not supposed to add counter weight here. I failed to mention one thing here. W2 will be 3 times higher weight than W1
