Re: MOSFET
you mean mosfet
small channel is used to decrease the resistance of the channel
you know RD is very important when using a mosfet transistor
Re: DSP Processor
i'll try to help hope it works
i know that each DSP has an internal microprocessor
each company specifies the name and the specification of the processor used in their dsp device
so TMS - 54X is the name of the processor used to build around this DSP
you can check the...
rc resonant circuit
hi
the answer is simple
this type of oscillator works on the phase shifht
one of the 2 conditions of the oscillation is to make the phase shift betwwn the output of the feedback circuit and the input of the amplifier zero
this is why we put many cells of rc circuits
hi
i wonder if someone can help me answer this question
how can a capacitor charge in the negative half cycle of the alternating sinusoidal voltage
we usually see this case in the pulse generator using a diac. the output is a series of positive and negative pulses
thanks
op amp as a comparator
hi
usually the output voltage in saturation is vcc-1V
so if you want to get a 5V output you should use a 6V power supply
to make sure you jave the right voltage (5V), you can connect the output of your comparator to two 5V zener diodes to form a clipper on one...
fastest switching bjt time
hi
i pretty sure that mosfet transistor are known and used for their fast switching capabiblity especially in power electronics
network analysis van valkenburg + rapidshare
sedra&smith is always a good book and you can find the definitions of poles and zeros and their realtion of the stability and the gain af any system in the book
Re: TTL and CMOS [hlp]
in few words
if you want high speed you can choose the ttl family IC
if you want the low power consumption you can choose the cmos family IC
you can find the same IC in the 2 families but of course with different names
Re: phase shifter
hi
if you just want to shift your signal you can use the all-pass filter
the picture should help you undertand how it works
please let me know if you need anything
Re: Astable operation
hi
here's the final circuit with all the calculations already done
it should give you a square wave of duty cycle equal 0.6
you easily change the duty cyle but it will affect the frequency
let me know if it works for you
hi
i read all your presentation and problem
although principles of electronics by malvino is an excellent book for the basic and the technical stuff, i think you need "the practical electronics for inventors".
it's a 14 chapters books on everything in electronics
it's a good start
you can...
