I agree with this.
I said that in my post so the OP knew of that, so that he did not go install the OS his laptop came with and then learn that he had to have a different version of Windows 7 (I was trying to save the OP some time:grin:).

Windows compatibility mode works about 60% of the time at best. :???:
IF you want you can try XP Mode, but you will have to be running a copy of Windows 7 Pro, Enterprise, or Ultimate. (A OEM Dell Inspiron N4030 has Windows 7 Home Basic installed)

You may have to leave the setting in the BIOS to SATA (not ATA, as i think that is what you changed it too).
With that you need to have a USB floppy disk and a floppy with your RAID drivers on it.
When you computer starts to lead the XP files...
So I really do not see you question in here, but I think I see where you are going with this.
I think this application would be good for cars that have some type of Low-Jack service on them or on a "BAIT" car used by police.
I would then have to ask, what frequencies ranges would you be...
